The MindShift PhotoCross 15 has been announced by ThinkTank, a new rugged 20-liter backpack designed to topple outdoor photography gear. The bag features an extra-large side panel with tripod straps, broad shoulder straps, a breathable 320 G air-mesh back panel, customizable interior splitters, and a seam-sealed rain cover.
The PhotoCross 15 is made of a variety of durable, weather-resistant external materials, including high-density nylon 420D and Tarpaulin heavy-duty nylon. The interior of the backpack features removable closed-cell foam dividers, a polyurethane-backed velex liner, a P210D liner, and a 210 T seal-sealed taffeta rain cover with polyurethane coating.
With three to five lenses (including a 70-200 mm F2.8 lens) and up to a 15-inch laptop, the new ThinkTank bag can accommodate an ungripped DSLR. Memory cards, spare batteries, and other small accessories can be stored with zippered interior pockets. Other features include a pocket of 1L water bottle, front pockets, and handles that carry both top and side.
In Carbon Grey and Orange Ember color options, the ThinkTank PhotoCross Backpack 15 retails for $169.99 USD. This model joins the 10 and 13 smaller backpacks of PhotoCross.
